Kate offers wisdom and support from her ten years experience as a therapist in private practice.

Hi! I’m Kate.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Sex Therapist, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I bring over a decade of experience to my practice. I specialize in relationship challenges, sexual health, gender and identity issues, complex trauma, sexual trauma, attachment issues, autism and ADHD.

My private practice welcomes and affirms the queer and neurodivergent communities. I provide sex therapy, couples counseling and individual therapy via telehealth. My approach integrates the 'top down' psychotherapy combined with the 'bottom up' approach of somatic therapy, utilizing mind-body techniques to gently release tension and stress stored in the nervous system, nurturing emotional regulation.

I'm an active and deeply empathetic therapist. I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are curious and motivated for change. In our sessions, I offer a warm and supportive therapeutic relationship to help clients reshape patterns and heal from past experiences, enabling them to embody their authentic selves, create deeper connections, and live fully in the present moment.

Client Testimonial

Kate is an amazing individual who created and held safe space for the work we did together. I worked with her for several years and always appreciated her expertise, guidance, knowledge, compassion, and patience. I reached out to Kate as I found myself wanting to be in an intimate relationship with someone and recognized that I first needed to work through past trauma and other things for myself. I knew that I needed to be in a better place before I could be a good partner for someone else. She taught me about boundaries, why they are important, and I see the important role they play in my life. The work was hard, and she held me accountable. She didn’t let me hide and was encouraging in helping me to find my voice. I am beyond thankful for our time together and know that I would not be where I am now without her support and encouragement.
